Opportunities to Support Us

Whatcom Chorale is a charitable nonprofit corporation, registered with the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Washington. We operate through the generous contributions of local companies and people like you. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated and may be tax-deductible. 

Personal Donations

Personal donations are always welcome and appreciated. You can become a Friend ($25–49), Donor ($50–249), Sponsor ($250–499), Patron ($500–999), or Benefactor ($1000 and above) of Whatcom Chorale by generously donating to our cause. These donations make it possible for us to buy music, pay for concert venues, and hire amazing musicians and soloists to perform with us. Unless you choose to remain anonymous, your name will be listed in our concert programs.

Business Sponsorships

Whatcom Chorale members participate annually in an ad campaign for our concert programs. This is our biggest fundraising effort of the year and helps us meet most of our budgetary needs for the season.  

For our May 2022 concert, we are transitioning from providing printed programs to our audience members to a virtual program that can be accessed on portable devices before, during, and after the concert. It’s not too late to advertise on the virtual program for the May concert; please contact us for further information. We will soon be posting information about our business sponsorships for the 2022-23 season. Check back here for updates!

When you advertise in Whatcom Chorale's programs, your ad will be seen at all major Whatcom Chorale performances. In addition, your company's logo and a link to your website will appear on the “Support Us” tab on our website (www.whatcomchorale.org).  We want to give the people who visit our website an opportunity to support the people and businesses that support us! 

An additional advertising opportunity for your business is to sponsor our website! If you choose to make a donation of $250 to be earmarked for the maintenance and hosting of our website, your company’s logo and a link to your website will display on all of our pages.
